Nationals week is a
wonderfully exciting time - the culmination of phenomenal seasons for all our
teams and "careers" for our seniors. We want to share the
excitement and strengthen our sense of community all week long. To do
that we'd like to share the avenues we've established for us to communicate
throughout the week.
1. Coaches
communications with NCHBC - As you have in the past, communications with
the Flatts/tournament organizers are of the utmost importance. You'll
receive all that information at registration as you have before.
2. Coaches
communications with the Nighthawks - please text your game scores and any
publicity worthy details to Kim Yates at 901-870-2325 and Rhonda Arthur at
901-277-1428. Kim will text messages to the Nighthawk family, and Rhonda will
update Twitter and Facebook.
3. Families - Plug
into NCHBC social media in whatever ways you prefer. They are on Twitter,
Facebook, their website, and email. They will always have the most current and
reliable brackets and gym information.
4. Families - Plug
into Nighthawk social media. Our twitter is MPHS_Nighthawks. Feel free to
tweet scores, game updates, anything positive @MPHS_Nighthawks. Our FB will be
kept updated as well. Please share it and our Twitter with your family
and fans at home.
5. Families - Visit the memphisnighthawks.blogspot.com often to
stay plugged in for all the details, photos, and videos - all things Nighthawks
will be found here all week.
6. Teams - Team
moms/coaches/families stay in touch with one other all week. Be sure
you've shared phone numbers with everyone. At some point during the week,
either you'll need help or someone will need your help. Let's be sure to
be there for one another.
Please remember that
if you have any issues regarding the games or the tournament, do not contact
the tournament organizers yourself. Brian Wheeler is the only point of
contact for the Nighthawks with the tournament organizer. He is working
with Sean to be our advocate for the week. You can reach Brian at
901-237-8833.
AND LAST but NOT LEAST
- let's work to keep all our communications positive this week.
It's been a phenomenal season, and I'm sure this week will be the grand finale
we've all been working toward. Please don't take to social media to vent
your frustrations but to share all the positive and fun moments of the
week.
Thank you and GO
NIGHTHAWKS!!
We miss being there
with you, but are looking forward to keeping up with you through these
communications all week.
Sean and Ronda Berry
and the rest of your Nighthawk family at home
